MAEVE ADAM
Maeve grew up being homeschooled by parents who loved the Lord and were diligent in raising her to view the world through the lens of scripture and address issues in a godly way. When she heard about abortion around the age of 12, she was horrified and couldn’t believe it was real. As she came to the realization that abortion was in fact happening and at a much larger scale than she thought possible, Maeve knew that she could not just stay silent about it. Her conviction comes from the simple fact that she is a child of God who acknowledges her responsibility to defend those who are defenseless and resist evil.
Thus, at the young age of 12 Maeve began her journey in pro-life ministry. She took it upon herself to study abortion and become familiar with the issue she felt called to speak out against.
From that moment of conviction, she has dedicated her life to traveling the country on behalf of the unborn, speaking at events and churches, attending rallies, sidewalk counseling, and anything else the Lord leads her to do. At age 16 she played a huge role in starting a Pregnancy Resource Center in her community and was able to get over 25 churches involved in supporting the pro-life cause.
Maeve has since become the President of her own non-profit, Simply Pro-Life. Her goal with Simply Pro-Life is to enable more Christians to stand in defense of life through simple actions. She believes everyone has the power to do something, and if Christians choose to do something rather than nothing, together we can work to “end abortion one baby-step at a time”. She provides Simply Pro-Life Action boxes full of tools and resources anyone can do to create a culture of life in our country.
She was drawn to The Survivors because of their unapologetic and bold stance against abortion and their proclamation of the gospel. Because of Survivors, she is now able to follow her calling and be on mission changing hearts and minds about abortion and then offering people the tools needed to turn conviction into action.
