In Fontana, California, we have two public officials—Jesse and Mary Sandoval—serving on the city council and the school board. In 2023, it was revealed that both had received campaign donations from Planned Parenthood, affiliated with San Bernardino.

Around the same time, Planned Parenthood submitted a permit application to lease a property at the northeast corner of Sierra and San Bernardino Avenue.

In response, a major protest was organized, drawing over 2,000 people from diverse Christian communities. Providentially, the city council was simultaneously conducting a study and memorandum on redistricting the downtown area. As a result, all new permits, including Planned Parenthood’s, were put on hold.

However, the situation shifted when the state passed AB 2085. This law mandates that cities must approve permits for any facility classified as “healthcare”, and that no outside interference can affect its opening — no matter how life threatening the buisness may be.

In April of this year, we learned that, under this new law, Planned Parenthood resumed construction at the site.

Now, we are issuing a rallying cry to the Church: to pray, fast, intercede, and take action. We are called to stand at the gates of hell and direct traffic for life, for truth, and for our city. Join us on October 25th in Fontana!
